These terms apply when you use Lightplay Email Templates, a Shopify app run by Lightplay. By installing it, you agree to them.

What the app does

The app generates email template code that you paste into your Shopify admin. Shopify sends the emails. You choose what to install, and you can return to Shopify's default at any time with Revert to default.

Plans and billing

The app has a free plan and a paid annual plan, shown on the Plan page. Charges are billed by Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice. You can cancel from the Plan page. Emails you already pasted into Shopify keep working if you cancel.

Your content

You keep ownership of the text and images you add. You're responsible for having the rights to use them, and for what your emails say, including any legal information your store must include. Images you upload are publicly accessible by link, so that email apps can load them. You give us permission to store, process and serve them for this purpose.

Acceptable use

Don't upload unlawful content or material you have no right to use, and don't try to disrupt the app or reach other merchants' data. We may remove such content or suspend access if you do.

Check before you go live

Email apps display emails differently, and Shopify can change its templates. Preview and test your emails before relying on them. Previews in the app use sample data and may differ from what your customers receive.

Uninstalling

If you uninstall, we erase your data about 48 hours later, as Shopify requires. Images you uploaded will then stop showing in emails you pasted into Shopify.

No warranty

The app is provided as is. We work to keep it reliable, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms, and we'll change the date above when we do. Continuing to use the app means you accept the update.
